Kink's The Word

So, I write about all kinds of things. Witches, cops, robbers, dysfunctional relationships, love, romance, heartache, heartbreak, music, time travel, regency romance, supernatural occurrences, you name it. But in August of 2017 I published a little book called He Loves Me... I wrote the book on a whim, during hot summer nights, often times with a drink handy. For the first time ever, I let myself slip into a dark place that I've never ventured before. I experimented with the idea of fear mixed with sex and came out with a romance turned sexual thriller. I was more afraid than I'd ever been when I hit 'publish'. The book contained some intense sexual scenes that I thought most people would find offensive, if not repulsive. Some people did, actually. But what surprised me the most was, most people loved it. They've been demanding the sequel ever since and now the pressure's on! I have to delve back into that character that is capable of unthinkable acts.

Back to my point and my title! I've been posting some spoiler snippets on Twitter from my WIP and the sequel to this provocative book and the responses are always overwhelmingly positive!

Bottom line: People. Like. Kink.

The very things I'd been taught to shy away from when I was raised (as a Catholic, what a cliche I am!) are exactly the things people want!

And there are a lot of freaky, kinky, dirty, wanton folks out there just begging for more!

So here I am again, getting back into kinky paradise, which apparently I'm good at? When this much anticipated sequel drops, 'ya freaks will be the first to know! Take care everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I've 'blogged' but I've been livin' la vida loca and all that.

Until then, I'll be, like Missy Elliot says, 'getting my freak on'.
